Jeff Lander

A lover of music his entire life, Jeff Lander decided to learn couples dancing in the summer of 1996. He focused initially on swing, ballroom and latin styles, but soon discovered the passion and beauty of Argentine Tango. His interests have led him to study under a wide variety of instructors at locations ranging from Boston to New York City, and including guest instructors from Argentina.

With increasing skill came opportunities to perform with a variety of troupes including the United Nations Ballroom Dance Club in New York City, Circle of Life - Arts for All in East Hartford and Small Planet Dancers in Westfield, MA.

Jeff joined Small Planet Dancers in the fall of 2005. This was his first exposure to Celtic, Cajun and other global dance styles.
